It is an open source software that is both free and priceless at the same time. It gives users, developers and experts the freedom to build and create anything they want right at their fingertips. Its features includes blogging, traditional mailing lists, forums, media galleries, and online stores. It was released on May 27, 2003, by its founders, Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little, as a fork of b2/cafelog.
